Although Myanmar moved its capital to Naypyidaw in 2005, Yangon remains the largest city and commercial hub in the country.
On the 27th (Sun), appreciate the history behind Shwedagon Pagoda, take in the spiritual surroundings of Sule Pagoda, and then pause for some photo ops at Chaukhtatgyi Buddha. On the 28th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stroll around Kandawgyi Park, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Botahtaung Pagoda, then browse the eclectic array of goods at Bogyoke Aung San Market, and finally steep yourself in history at Kyaik Ka San Pagoda.
