Orléans is a city in north-central France, about 111km southwest of Paris. Kick off your visit on the 9th (Sun): engage your brain at Chateau de Denainvilliers, step into the grandiose world of Chateau de Chamerolles, and then take an in-depth tour of War Museum of 1870 - Loigny-la-Bataille. Keep things going the next day: contemplate the long history of Domaine National de Chambord, then explore the historical opulence of Chateau de Chambord, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Abbatiale Notre-Dame.
