On the 9th (Thu), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Asakusa Shrine, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Sensō-ji, and then take a stroll through Kitchen Town (Kappabashi). On the 10th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Hokokuji Temple (Takedera Temple), then contemplate the long history of Kencho-ji Temple, and then steep yourself in history at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine.

Boston, USA to Tokyo is an approximately 17.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of train and flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 14 hours traveling from Boston to Tokyo. Plan for a bit warmer nights when traveling from Boston in July since evenings lows in Tokyo dip to 74°F. Miyakojima

Miyakojima
A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Sat): see the interesting displays at Miyakojima City Museum and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Nagamahama Beach Coast. Keep things going the next day: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Miyako Shrine and then explore the gorgeous colors at Yabiji.

You can fly from Tokyo to Miyakojima in 4.5 hours. Traveling from Tokyo in July, expect a bit warmer with lows of 80°F in Miyakojima. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Sun) early enough to travel to Ishigaki.

Traveling by combination of flight and train from Ishigaki to Hiroshima takes 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly. Traveling from Ishigaki in July, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit cooler in Hiroshima, with lows of 76°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Thu) early enough to catch the train to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Explore hidden gems such as Kennin-ji Temple and Toji. Get some cultural insight at Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Hieizan Enryaku-ji Temple. When in Kyoto, make a side trip to see Dotonbori in Osaka, approximately 1h 10 min away. You can take a train from Hiroshima to Kyoto in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In July, plan for daily highs up to 89°F, and evening lows to 76°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
