Traveling by train from Hakone-machi to Kyoto takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and flight. Traveling from Hakone-machi in February, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit cooler in Kyoto, with lows of 1°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Sun) so you can catch the train to Osaka.
