On the 28th (Mon), take in the spiritual surroundings of St Francis Church and Convent, make a trip to Corso Italia, and then let your taste buds guide you at La Masseria Farm.

Known for its impressive hillside cascade of colorful stone buildings down to the Mediterranean shore, Amalfi is the cultural and commercial heart of southern Italy's Amalfi Coast.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Tue): examine the collection at Museo della Carta and then kick back and relax at Lido Capo di Conca. On your second day here, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Sant'Andrea Apostolo and then identify plant and animal life at Valle delle Ferriere.

Getting from Sorrento to Amalfi by car takes about an hour. Other options: ride a ferry; or take a bus. When traveling from Sorrento in August, plan for slightly colder days and about the same nights in Amalfi: temperatures range from 34°C by day to 28°C at night. While often overshadowed by the Amalfi Coast's array of quaint villages, Salerno has become one of the region's main areas for culture and entertainment, while remaining relatively unmarked by tourism.
On the 31st (Thu), pause for some serene contemplation at Duomo di Salerno, take in the exciting artwork at Sol’Art Ceramiche, and then get some thrills on the water with a speed boat tour. On the next day, let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour and then kick back and relax at Spiaggia Lannio.

You can do a combination of ferry and train from Capri to Salerno in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and bus; or do a combination of ferry and bus.
