Getting from Abu Simbel to Luxor by combination of flight and train takes about 6.5 hours. Other options: drive; or fly. In December in Luxor, expect temperatures between 28°C during the day and 11°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Tue) early enough to catch the flight to Dahab.
