Designated a World Heritage Site in 1995, Luang Prabang sits at the meeting point of two rivers and offers numerous opportunities for sailing, climbing, and exploring scenic caves and waterfalls.
You've added Ock Pop Tok Store, Icon Klub, Kuang Si Falls, and other attractions to your itinerary. Golden City Temple (Wat Xieng Thong) and Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham will appeal to history buffs. Traveling from Luang Prabang in January, things will get a bit warmer in Siem Reap: highs are around 36°C and lows about 25°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sun) so you can travel to Phnom Penh.

On the confluence of two major rivers, Phnom Penh occupies a scenic location largely responsible for its nickname the "Charming City." On a trip to Phnom Penh you'll discover one of Asia's most dynamic cities, where the natives live much of their lives outdoors, on the streets, and in the bustling markets filled with scents of spicy foods.
Visit Royal Palace and Wat Phnom for their historical value. Appreciate the collections at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and National Museum. There's still lots to do: browse the eclectic array of goods at Central Market, stop by Bodia Nature, surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, and appreciate the history behind Independence Monument.

You can fly from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh in 2 hours. Other options are to drive; or ride a ferry. In January, daytime highs in Phnom Penh are 37°C, while nighttime lows are 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Sihanoukville.
