Many urban centers call themselves "Garden City," but thanks to its many manicured parks filled with native and exotic plants, Victoria probably deserves than moniker more than most.
Kick off your visit on the 21st (Sun): explore the engaging exhibits at Miniature World, then paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Christ Church Cathedral. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 22nd (Mon): identify plant and animal life at Victoria Butterfly Gardens, take in the dramatic natural features at Sooke Potholes Provincial Park, and then kick back and relax at French Beach Provincial Park.

Calgary to Victoria is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone difference when traveling from Calgary to Victoria is minus 1 hour. When traveling from Calgary in July, plan for a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Victoria: temperatures range from 22°C by day to 15°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Mon) so you can travel to Whistler.

A tiny settlement on Vancouver Island's wild western coastline, surfers' favorite Tofino occupies a scenic location at the edge of Clayoquot Sound, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Visiting Wickaninnish Beach and Cox Bay Beach will get you outdoors. Family-friendly places like Long Beach and Chesterman Beach will thrill your kids. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Tofino: Ucluelet (Amphitrite Point Lighthouse & Wild Pacific Trail). Spend the 26th (Fri) exploring nature at Pacific Rim National Park. The adventure continues: paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour, see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour, and shop like a local with Eagle Aerie Gallery.

You can do a combination of car and ferry from Whistler to Tofino in 6.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of bus and ferry. Expect little chillier weather when traveling from Whistler in July: highs in Tofino hover around 21°C, while lows dip to 13°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Sun) early enough to travel to Kelowna.
