A modern metropolis of glassy skyscrapers, waterside boulevards, and lush residential neighborhoods, Perth sits on the edge of the Swan Coastal Plain.
Family-friendly places like Kings Park and Botanic Garden and Perth Zoo will thrill your kids. Venture out of the city with trips to Mandurah (Mandurah Community Museum & Dolphin & Whale Watching) and Warnbro Beach (in Warnbro). Albany

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
On the 15th (Sat), relax in the rural setting at Denmark Animal Farm & Pentland Alpaca Stud, kick back and relax at Greens Pool, and then take in the dramatic natural features at Elephant Rocks. On the 16th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at National Anzac Centre, then kick back and relax at Little Beach, and then explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge.
