Brisbane to Launceston is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of train, ferry, and bus. In April, Launceston is little chillier than Brisbane - with highs of 20°C and lows of 7°C. You will have some time to spend on the 7th (Tue) before leaving for Wynyard.

Wynyard is a rural town on the north-west coast of Tasmania, Australia, about 17km west of Burnie. You've now added Boat Harbour Beach to your itinerary. Kick off your visit on the 7th (Tue): enjoy the sea views from Table Cape Lighthouse Experience, stop by Lemon Tree Providore, and then enjoy some diversion at Burnie Park. On the next day, get advice or help at Wonders of Wynyard Exhibition and Visitor Information Centre, then take a memorable drive along Boat Harbour Beach, and then explore the striking landscape at Fossil Bluff.

Coles Bay

Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Sat): relax in the rural setting at Freycinet Marine Farm and then make a trip to Bicheno Blowhole. Keep things going the next day: get interesting insight from Tours, trek along Wineglass Bay Lookout, and then enjoy the sea views from Cape Tourville Lighthouse.
