Traveling by combination of taxi and train from Yuchi to Kaohsiung takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. Prepare for somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Yuchi in January: high temperatures in Kaohsiung hover around 29°C and lows are around 19°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 28th (Sat) so you can catch the flight back home.
