One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
You've now added Changgyeonggung Palace to your itinerary. You'll explore and learn at Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Folk Museum of Korea. Get a sense of the local culture at Bukchon Hanok Village and Bongeunsa Temple. Next up on the itinerary: shop like a local with Myeongdong Shopping Street, take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower, take an in-depth tour of National Museum of Korea, and admire the landmark architecture of Changdeokgung Palace.

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 22nd (Tue): enjoy the sand and surf at Hamdeok Beach and then see the interesting displays at Jeju National Museum.

Busan — 2 nights

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Get a sense of the local culture at Haedong Yonggungsa and Beomeosa Temple. Visit Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach for some beach relaxation. Change things up with a short trip to Gyeongju National Museum in Gyeongju (about 1h 15 min away). The adventure continues: take a stroll through Busan Gamcheon Culture Village.

Getting from Jeju to Busan by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. In March, daily temperatures in Busan can reach 16°C, while at night they dip to 3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Sat) to allow enough time to fly to Seoul.
