You can fly from Reykjavik to Akureyri in 2.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. In June in Akureyri, expect temperatures between 15°C during the day and 7°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Wed) to allow time to drive to Reykjahlid.
