On the 12th (Mon), pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di San Marco and then make a trip to Dorsoduro. Keep things going the next day: contemplate the long history of Centro Storico di Venezia, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande, then admire the striking features of Torre dell'Orologio, then browse the collection at Libreria Acqua Alta, and finally snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto.
