Monteverde is all about natural attractions, not surprising for an eco-tourism hotspot known for its cloud forests and rich diversity of animal life.
Kick off your visit on the 17th (Thu): identify plant and animal life at Monteverde Frog Pond and then identify plant and animal life at Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 18th (Fri): stroll through The Bat Jungle, look for all kinds of wild species at Reserva Bosque Nuboso Santa Elena, and then whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks.

Ideal for visitors looking to escape Costa Rica's busy beaches, Uvita offers a serene atmosphere and plenty of uncrowded sand for a leisurely vacation.
Kick off your visit on the 19th (Sat): scramble along the landscape with a canyoning and rapelling tour. Keep things going the next day: kick back and relax at Uvita Beach, then identify plant and animal life at Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary, and then relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers.
