The metropolitan center of Silicon Valley, San Jose considers itself a global city.
Get out of town with these interesting San Jose side-trips: Monterey (Cannery Row, Monterey Bay Aquarium, &more), Point Lobos (in Carmel) and Elkhorn Slough Safari (in Moss Landing).
