Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
On the 5th (Mon), examine the collection at National Anzac Centre, steep yourself in history at Point King Lighthouse, examine the collection at Albany's Historic Whaling Station, then explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge, and finally don't miss a visit to Albany Wind Farm. On the 6th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: kick back and relax at Little Beach, kick back and relax at Middleton Beach, then admire the masterpieces at Vancouver Arts Centre, and finally tour the pleasant surroundings at Greens Pool.
