Traveling by combination of train and taxi from Khiva to Bukhara takes 10.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and flight. In July, daily temperatures in Bukhara can reach 43°C, while at night they dip to 25°C. On the 4th (Thu), you'll travel to Samarkand.

Step out of Samarkand with an excursion to The Palace Complex of Ak-Saray in Shahrisabz--about 1h 25 min away.
