Deloraine

Deloraine is a town on the Meander River, in the central north of Tasmania, Australia. On the 22nd (Tue), tour the pleasant surroundings at Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary and then take a stroll through Tasmania’s Town of Murals. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: Head underground at Mole Creek Caves, admire the masterpieces at Deloraine & Districts Folk Museum, then view the masterpieces at Yarns Artwork in Silk, and finally take in the exciting artwork at Deloraine Creative Studios.

Getting from Launceston to Deloraine by car takes about an hour. In February in Deloraine, expect temperatures between 28°C during the day and 13°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Thu) to allow time to drive to Hobart.

You can drive from Deloraine to Hobart in 3 hours. Expect a daytime high around 26°C in February, and nighttime lows around 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Mon) early enough to drive to Coles Bay.

Coles Bay

Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Get in touch with nature at Wineglass Bay and Dolphin & Whale Watching. Spend the 1st (Tue) exploring nature at Freycinet National Park.
