Legnano is an Italian town and comune with 60,313 inhabitants in the north-westernmost part of the Metropolitan City of Milan, about 20km from central Milan. Venture out of the city with trips to Basilica Di San Giuliano (in Gozzano), Lake Orta (in Orta San Giulio) and Safari Park (in Pombia). There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Museo Fratelli Cozzi Alfa Romeo, make a trip to Sacro Monte Unesco di Varese, make a splash at Acquaworld, and stroll around Parco di Monza.

For photos, ratings, traveler tips, and more tourist information, you can read our Legnano itinerary planning site.

Milan to Legnano is an approximately 1-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Milan in June, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be slightly colder in Legnano, with lows of 17°C. You'll have a few hours on the 20th (Sat) to wrap things up before traveling home.
