On the 26th (Tue), don't miss a visit to Plaza de Armas, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catedral de Talca, see the interesting displays at Museo Municipal de Villa Alegre, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Catedral, and finally take in nature's colorful creations at Jardin botanico de la Universidad de Talca. Keep things going the next day: savor the flavors at Mercado Central Municipal de Talca, then don't miss a visit to Patio Rugendas, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Iglesia Corazon de Maria, and finally learn about winemaking at Balduzzi Vineyards & Winery.

Curicó, meaning "Black Waters" in Mapudungun (originally meaning "Land of Black Water"), is the capital city of the Curicó Province, part of the Maule Region in Chile's central valley.The province lies between the provinces of Colchagua and Talca and extends from the Pacific to the Argentine frontier. Get out of town with these interesting Curico side-trips: Molina (Parque Ingles & Parque Nacional Radal Siete Tazas).
