Liepāja, is a city in western Latvia, located on the Baltic Sea directly at 21°E. Venture out of the city with trips to Kuldiga (Kuldigas Sv. Katrinas Baznica, Kuldigas Identitates Pilars, &more), Ventspils (Children’s Town, The Castle of the Livonian order, &more) and Abavas Rumba (in Kandava). There's still lots to do: stroll around Jurmalas Park, pause for some photo ops at Latvian Musicians’ Walk of Fame, steep yourself in history at Northern Forts, and pause for some serene contemplation at St. Nicholas Orthodox Sea Cathedral.
