Kapaa

Noted for its low-key beaches, Kapaa is a small town with a high concentration of tourist-oriented hotels, shops, bars, and restaurants.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Waimea Canyon State Park and Poipu Beach Park. Get out of town with these interesting Kapaa side-trips: Scuba & Snorkeling (in Eleele), Hanapepe (Salt Pond Beach Park & Salty Wahine Gourmet Hawaiian Sea Salts) and Na Pali Coast State Park (in Wainiha). There's much more to do: see the world from above with a helicopter tour, take in the dramatic scenery at Wailua Falls, get great views at Sleeping Giant Trail, and kick back and relax at Hanalei Beach.
