Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
Take a break from the city and head to Kitsilano Beach and Granville Island. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium and Bloedel Conservatory. Next up on the itinerary: stroll around Stanley Park, take in the views from Lions Gate Bridge, explore the striking landscape at Vancouver Seawall, and get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Vancouver Aquarium.

Toronto to Vancouver is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3 hours traveling from Toronto to Vancouver. Expect a bit cooler temperatures when traveling from Toronto in July; daily highs in Vancouver reach 28°C and lows reach 17°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 30th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Whistler.

Home to one of the largest ski areas in North America, former logging town of Whistler provides activities and entertainment for avid nature lovers and adrenaline seekers.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Tue): glide through natural beauty at Whistler Blackcomb, admire the masterpieces at Mountain Galleries at the Fairmont, and then head outdoors with Whistler Village Sports. On the next day, grab your bike and head to Lakeside Park, then whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, and then hike along Harmony Lake Trail.

Traveling by car from Vancouver to Whistler takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle; or take a bus. Expect little chillier evenings in Whistler when traveling from Vancouver in July, with lows around 14°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 1st (Thu) so you can travel to Tofino.

A tiny settlement on Vancouver Island's wild western coastline, surfers' favorite Tofino occupies a scenic location at the edge of Clayoquot Sound, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Get outdoors at Clayoquot Sound and Dolphin & Whale Watching. Step off the beaten path and head to Fishing Charters & Tours and The Big Tree Trail. Spend the 1st (Thu) exploring nature at Pacific Rim National Park. There's much more to do: relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, take in the exciting artwork at Eagle Aerie Gallery, and look for gifts at Rubio.

You can do a combination of bus and flight from Whistler to Tofino in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of bus, flight, and car. Expect a bit cooler weather when traveling from Whistler in August: highs in Tofino hover around 22°C, while lows dip to 14°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Victoria.

Many urban centers call themselves "Garden City," but thanks to its many manicured parks filled with native and exotic plants, Victoria probably deserves than moniker more than most.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Sun): pause for some serene contemplation at Christ Church Cathedral, learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Victoria Bug Zoo, and then get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour.
