A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
On the 15th (Mon), shop like a local with Nizami Street/Torgovaya, then examine the collection at National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature, then take an in-depth tour of National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, and finally explore the ancient world of Ateshgah Fire Temple.

Kuwait City, Kuwait to Baku is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Kuwait City to Baku due to the time zone difference. Museum-lovers will get to explore Sheki Khans' Palace and Museum of Folk and Applied Arts. Popular historic sites such as Church of Kish and Zagatala City Mosque are in your itinerary. Step out of Sheki with an excursion to Ilisu Waterfall in Ilisu--about 52 minutes away.
