Start off your visit on the 18th (Fri): walk around Centennial Park, admire the natural beauty at Belmont Mansion, and then explore and take pictures at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. Step out of Gatlinburg to go to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and see Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, which is approximately 34 minutes away. Start off your visit on the 26th (Sat): pause for some photo ops at National Civil Rights Museum - Lorraine Motel, take an in-depth tour of Mud Island, and then identify plant and animal life at Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park.
