Founded in 1842, the town of Salento represents the oldest established settlement in Quindio.
You've now added Adrenaline & Extreme Tours to your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Los Nevados National Park (in La Estrella), Parroquia Jesus Maria y Jose (in Quimbaya) and Filandia (Finca Tematica La Divisa, Mirador Colina Iluminada, &more). Spend the 20th (Fri) exploring nature at Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados. There's lots more to do: savor a delicious cup with a coffee and tea tour, browse the exhibits of Region Paisaje / Landscape Region, take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback, and look for all kinds of wild species at Reserva La Rivera.

For more things to do, ratings, where to stay, and more tourist information, go to the Salento trip planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are El Dorado International Airport, Alfonso Bonilla Aragon International Airport and Jose Maria Córdova International Airport. In March, daily temperatures in Salento can reach 82°F, while at night they dip to 64°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 24th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
