With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
On the 21st (Thu), tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa Zoni. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 22nd (Fri): discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour and then stroll through Playa Tamarindo.

For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
Start off your visit on the 23rd (Sat): kick back and relax at Playa Caracas and then kick back and relax at Playa La Chiva. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour and then enjoy the sand and surf at Balneario Sun Bay.

Ponce

Ponce is both a city and a municipality in the southern part of Puerto Rico. On the 25th (Mon), examine the collection at Parque de Bombas and then admire the masterpieces at Museo de Arte de Ponce.

You can do a combination of ferry and car from Isla de Vieques to Ponce in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry, taxi, bus, and car; or do a combination of flight and shuttle. Rincon

A seaside playground in the Caribbean, Rincon was a small agricultural and fishing town until it hosted the 1968 World Surfing Championship.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Playa Crashboat and Jobos Beach. Visit Faro de Punta Higuera and Faro Los Morrillos for their historical value. San Juan

Founded by the Spanish in 1521, San Juan is the oldest city under U.S. jurisdiction and one of the oldest in the Americas.
Kick off your visit on the 29th (Fri): zoom along the surf with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure, stroll the grounds of Santa Maria Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery, and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Paseo de la Princesa.
