At the southernmost tip of the island of Corsica, Bonifacio is a city with chalk-white limestone outcrops sculpted into unusual shapes by the ocean.
Kick off your visit on the 19th (Tue): stop by KOCOTTE, step off the mainland to explore Iles Lavezzi, and then contemplate the long history of Bonifacio Citadel. Keep things going the next day: explore the fascinating underground world of Grottes de Bonifacio, then make a trip to Escalier du Roi d'Aragon (King Aragon Steps), then steep yourself in history at Bastion de L'Etendard, and finally stroll through Plage du Petit Sperone.
