Kathmandu to Taplejung is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus, car, and train. Traveling from Kathmandu in October, you will find days in Taplejung are a bit cooler (26°C), and nights are about the same (16°C). On the 25th (Sun), you're off to Khumbu.

Dharan is one of the Sub-Metropolitan cities in eastern Nepal, in the Sunsari District, and is situated on the foothills of the Mahabharat Range in the north with its southern tip touching the edge of the Terai region at an altitude of 1148 ft . On the 30th (Fri), don't miss a visit to Pindeshwor Temple, take in the spiritual surroundings of Buddhasubba Temple, then make a trip to Panchakanya Temple, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Shiv Jatta.
