Writer Pearl Buck once called New York City “a place apart,” and this giant urban center remains unlike any other in the world.
Start off your visit on the 28th (Thu): steep yourself in history at 9/11 Memorial, learn more about the world around you at American Museum of Natural History, then visit Times Square, and finally examine the collection at New York Public Library. On your second day here, admire the landmark architecture of Rockefeller Center, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Patrick's Cathedral, then explore the galleries of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and finally look for gifts at Josefinas.

Eastham is a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States, Barnstable County being coextensive with Cape Cod. Get outdoors at Marconi Beach and Nauset Light Beach. Marconi-RCA Wireless Museum and Captain Penniman House will appeal to history buffs. Spend the 30th (Sat) exploring nature at Cape Cod National Seashore. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Nauset Beach, stroll through Coast Guard Beach, and shop like a local with Addison Art Gallery.
