The country's capital and largest city, Berlin is a diverse urban center boasting a lively nightlife and countless things to do.

Discover out-of-the-way places like Berlin-Hohenschonhausen Memorial and German Museum of Technology. Get some historical perspective at Potsdam's Gardens and Sanssouci Palace. Manchester, UK to Berlin is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also take a train; or do a combination of car and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Manchester to Berlin. You'll have a few hours on the 12th (Thu) to wrap things up before traveling to Amsterdam.

You can fly from Berlin to Amsterdam in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. November in Amsterdam sees daily highs of 12°C and lows of 5°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Tue) so you can travel back home.
