A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Go for a jaunt from Baku to Gobustan to see Gobustan State Reserve about 1h 5 min away. There's much more to do: make a trip to Baku Old City, see the interesting displays at Heydar Aliyev Center, take in the pleasant sights at Baku Boulevard, and take in the dramatic natural features at Yanardag.
