Pamplona or Iruña is the historical capital city of Navarre, in Spain, and of the former Kingdom of Navarre.The city is famous worldwide for the running of the bulls during the San Fermín festival, which is held annually from July 6 to 14. Start off your visit on the 16th (Thu): steep yourself in history at Fortress and Walls of Pamplona, take in nature's colorful creations at Parque de La Taconera, make a trip to Plaza del Castillo, then head outdoors with Parque de Yamaguchi, and finally admire the striking features of Catedral de Pamplona.
