1 day in Kranj Itinerary

The capital of Slovenia's Alps, Kranj allows you to stand with one foot in the nature and another in a town that's both a cultural center and a base for outdoor activities.

Kick off your visit on the 13th (Sat): get into the urban bustle at Layer House, make a trip to Tunnels Under Old Kranj, then get engrossed in the history at Škofja Loka Castle, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Žigon's House.

Ljubljana to Kranj is an approximately half hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. In November in Kranj, expect temperatures between 11°C during the day and 2°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 13th (Sat) early enough to travel to Kranj.
