When in Port of Spain, head to Queen's Park Savannah for some rest or recreation. The vast 110 hectares (260 acres) originally served as a sugar estate; later purchased as public land, it became a park by the mid 19th century. You may barely notice, but around it circles the world's largest traffic roundabout. The wide swath of low grass sits in the city's most affluent neighborhood, surrounded by notable buildings. Have a picnic, people-watch, or join the crowd of locals who gather there to stroll, jog, hang out with family, or snack on some street food. • It's scenic with so much activities like jugging, playing games with family and friends, taking spouse and kids for a stroll or even buying fresh coconut water from one of the vendors nearby.
  • This Savannah has been at the heart of the City since it's founding. It has hosted horse racing, refugees and of course the yearly Carnival celebrations over its storied history. It's cool paths open spaces and manicured gardens invite you to stop and rest and the running path around it is great for an evening run. In fact an increase in the volume of people running is a fairly good indicator of Carnival's approach! If your in POS try to walk the Savannah and take in all the attractions that surround it.
  • This place is great. The entire city traverses by it at least once in any given day. I think it is the largest turning circle on the planet, or was at one time. I think it is over a mile across, maybe a mile and half. You can find tourists strolling, lovers canoodling, vendors, sight seers, lovers, folks playin' sports, people practicing pan music, shark and bake and more here. Great place to sunset gather for free entertainment.
  • convenient and centerlize concert location. great for the fitness enthusiastic people.
  • Best place to keep all your events good for running football family day
  • Go at night and get the soup! It's simply amazing! It's the last soup tent where all the food tents are, close to the road.
