Maracas Falls, Port of Spain
(3.6/5 based on 60+ reviews on the web)
Visit Maracas Falls, El Salvador's highest waterfall, which sits at an altitude of 91.5 m (300 ft). Cascading down a rock face abundant with patches of lush green vegetation, the waterfall forms no pool at the bottom, a result of its altitude. Tables and chairs sit in the surrounding area, creating a great picnic spot within tranquil scenery. Reach the fall by following a trail that starts at the red flamboyant tree, crossing two gentle streams and slippery rock. Take good hiking shoes to traverse the terrain. Put Maracas Falls and other Port of Spain attractions into our Port of Spain trip itinerary builder, and watch your holiday take shape.
