Make your way to Dattatreya Temple and Hanuman Statue and learn about Hindu culture in Trinidad. Artisans brought over from India built the temple's entrance, which features two elephants dressed in gold guarding on each side. Take off your shoes and step inside to find vibrantly colored ceilings adorned with statuettes of Buddha. Outside near the temple find a 25 m (85 ft) statue of Lord Hanuman dominating the skyline. You'll see a smaller version of the statue just outside the temple.
