3/5 based on 30 reviews on the web
Established in 1885 as a denomination independent from the Methodist Church, Free Church of Tonga remains a major religious institution in both the physical and spiritual sense. Recognized as the official state church and upheld by the presidency, the denomination has groups and members in Tonga, New Zealand, Australia, and America. The modest church building offers architectural beauty and charm, with its humble presence, architectural angles, and stained-glass windows. Sunday service here is known for its spectacular singing.
