Learn about Tonga's culture and history with a tour through the rare, beautiful plant life at Ene'io Botanical Garden. Developed in 1972 by a veteran agronomist, the attraction is the first and only of its kind in Tonga. It offers personalized tours through a collection of over 100 plant families and 500 plant species, both native and exotic. The colorful 8 hectare (22 acre) garden strives to preserve varieties produced by selective breeding, save endangered plant species, and educate locals and visitors. Following your tour, pop down to the beach for snorkeling and swimming in the largest man-made ocean swimming pool in Vava'u. Refuel at the onsite restaurant, serving up locally caught fish and chips. Plan to see Ene'io Botanical Garden and other attractions that appeal to you using our Neiafu tour planner.
