Zandvoort aan Zee, Zandvoort

4.1
#1 of 16 in Beaches in The Netherlands
Just a short train ride away from Amsterdam, Zandvoort aan Zee is a clean beach and resort area located along the North Sea. The waters are shallow and appropriate for swimming, making this beach a great spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Rent a cabana for a bit of protection from the sun, or go for a walk on the sand. The promenade lining the beach offers a variety of bars, restaurants, and food carts where you can try some of the local fried seafood. Check the forecast ahead of time, as the wind can be strong in inclement weather. Put Zandvoort aan Zee into our Zandvoort vacation route planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

A few days ago I was in Amsterdam and I was driven by curiosity to see like the North Sea, and maybe even to bathe. Unfortunately the weather was not the best though occasionally coming out of the Sun and it was fine, and then I got to get some. I emphasize that I was practically the only Italian shirtless because those who visited there were winter clothes, but if you hate the heat and you fools who do not fear the cold then as seaside is just fine. Beach bars are many, even very cute with nice furniture and fittings. Of course, prices, not aspettateveli as in Prague or in Bangkok, we are always at 21 km from Amsterdam. I would add, that always at the beach there is a coffee shop. The water is not the best, as the North Sea is among the busiest and polluted. But the overall atmosphere of the place is more than relaxing, and with its 100 meters wide Beach, the beach of Zandvoort is a perfect place where you can spend a half day in quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby metropolis of a thousand museums, coffee shops, and brothels. Note: take something to the pickup truck of fried seafood on the walk. Prices more than honest. Well worth the trip.

Meal together... My girlfriend and I were finally once again in the beautiful Zandvoort last Sunday. If you one day need relaxation and vacation feeling one is exactly right in Zandvoort! Beautiful beach, the is great for sunbathing or walking is ideal. The restaurants on the beach offer plenty of variety in terms of food and cocktails... (you should note but prices because some of the restaurants are not necessarily cheap. Paying in part for the beautiful view on the sea, but this is not just in Zandvoort as) we definitely come back.
