  • Very impressed wooden shoes! It is fantastic to see there is a person who is showing how to make wooden shoes! We love the Giant Wooden Shoes placed on the garden where we can take pictures!  more »
  • We went here as a part of a tour and, to be honest, whilst it was reasonable and the people very friendly and the demonstration interesting - I don't think that I would have bothered if it wasn't...  more »
  • Some people may call it a tourist trip, but what the heck no one is asking you to buy anything. On the contrary, you get to see these how these clogs, these wooden sturdy shoes are made, right in...  more »
  • What an amazing place. Working windmills with little work shops. Great options to buy souvenirs. It's a beautiful place to walk and enjoy. Great photo opportunities too. We'll worth a visit. There's not too many places like this and it's free entry!
  • Highlight being traditional aspects of Amsterdam, heritage windmills and homes. Wonderful place to visit, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Lovely walks, stores and cheese and clog making exhibitions. Good for all ages.
  • It was indeed a good experience. The people in the workshop were very friendly and they do demonstrate how a wooden shoe is made. Believe me, it would not take a lot of time and it is worth watching. Also, you can buy a pair of wooden shoes oif you want from the store. It does have a great collection of souvenirs at a very nominal price. Recommended
  • This town on the outskirts is a step back into a beautiful historic time. Windmills currently operating and below sea level breezes bring the smell of cocoa from the near by factory. It was a delightful experience and easy to get to by train. The wooden shoes were a delight to see being constructed from start to finish..
  • Nice museum and store of the famous wooden Dutch shoes. See how they're made, their history and even a live demonstration. Big souvenir shop with reasonable prices.
