Tikibad, Wassenaar

(3.3/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web)
Cool off at Tikibad, a widely popular water park with large swimming pools and the longest slides in the Netherlands. Some of the more relaxing attractions include a wave pool and a lazy river, while the real thrills come in the form of fast and furious waterslides. Lifeguards ensure a safe experience, and there are viewing areas if you don't feel like getting wet. Our Wassenaar trip builder makes visiting Tikibad and other Wassenaar attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • Were there on a weekday outside holiday. Nice and quiet only unfortunately restaurant close. Though annoying if you're there at 4 pm only. What I regret is that you have to pay full price for a small child and they may but in 2 slides you'd be better to pay by length of 15 euros. All in all, this children be entertained but the next time I would go to another pool (the more domestic and cheaper)

  • Quite busy when we visited so changing rooms were crowed and floors not very clean so bring pool shoes or flip-flops. Life guards seemed very attentive and asked my 8 year old to display her swimming ...  more »
  • On Monday morning in the holiday packed. At each slide at least 20 minutes of waiting, some 40. I find striking how small the pool actually is. The changing rooms and lockers are also very close to each other. Ticket you need to be able to save out again; not as convenient. The slides are of course very nice, but the little for. The price of 17.50 absolutely not worth it.

  • The first negative point was definitely the price! We had to pay both for Tikibad and the funpark, while we actually only wanted to use Tikibad. Also the 7,50 for parking was quite a surprise. The slides are pretty good, but the water temperature and the air temperature are really too low. There is not really a place to warm up. Only the small whirlpool is warm, but that is very small and often full. Also there are 3 steam cabins are warm, but for these you have to pay 3 euros to be able to use it, which is ridiculous! Another negative point was the fact that the swimming pool was overcrowded with screaming children and there is no single place to relax. It would have been nice if they would have also made an area for older people to be away from all the children. Also me and my boyfriend had trouble with the locker system, which is a very bad system. It looks like they want to be modern with this locker system, but it rather is very annoying. Often you have to wait to be able to enter your locker code so it will open, and when you finally managed to open it, it closes itself again, so you will have to wait again to enter your locker number and open it again. The last point we did not like were the showers. There are just a few showers that are unisex, so you are not able to fully clean yourself cause there is no possibility to shower naked. Also there is just no place to put your towel and shower stuff, so eventually most people put their stuff on the baby-change-table. Lastly there was also no decent place to dry yourself. Also this most people did at the baby-change-area. All together we were quite disappointed by Tikibad and will not go there again. Next time we rather go to Tropical Island close to Berlin again, which is much nicer!!
  • In 1 word: Awesome!! Around 10 different slides, from normal to extreme, and a tube where the ground disappears from underneat you. Loved every single one of them and had a wonderfull time.
  • Nice water hills, crappy and expensive food. Use evening ticket as it is impossible to stay there for more than 4 hours because of bleaching powder in the air anyways.
  • Very nice indoor waterpark. You can relax in one of the Jacuzzis they have there or go in to one of the many water slides. Some go really fast so access worth caution
  • Dirty on pool for Kids are real expensive but there is nothing for them. NOTHING FOR KIDS In swimingpool!
