Duinrell, Wassenaar

(4.1/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Nestled in a thick forest, Duinrell offers the longest water slides in the Netherlands plus 37 attractions ranging from gentle to extreme. Feel the adrenaline as you soar through the air at a speed of 70 km/h (43 mph), while twisting, looping, and reaching heights of 22 m (72 ft). Visit a shadow house--a magical place where no matter what you do, your shadow keeps forgetting to follow you. Hop on roller coasters, experience bumper car-like rides, and explore castles and playgrounds in a fairytale setting. The site has its own caravan park and campground. Duinrell is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our custom trip planner, Wassenaar Edition.

  • Duinrell theme park is special, but also the great hiking possibilities. The park is close and offers entertainment for young and old!

  • Already two years running we are a guest in Wassenaar. In addition to enjoying the many attractions, the park and the swimming pool. Outside of the attractions is the large park, with a friendly young help at the attractions. In the Pancake House you can enjoy and great food. In addition, you can also use the park as a base for cycling trips. Then are also beautiful cottages to rent!

  • A great destination for a family with young children. During the day there is the Amusement Park with is great fun, the Swimming Pool, which is excellent, then the park closes early and children are free to roam and use the playground equipment, ride bikes, and attend the evening entertainment which is of a very good quality, but all in Dutch (it doesn't really matter, you'll get the gist even if you don't speak the language. As local children are still in school whilst UK Children are on holiday, the park is never too crowded. WiFi is available throughout the park, but strength varies and you do have to pay for a connection.
  • We really wanted to give this five stars but the toilets in our cabin were very smelly, the staff were very helpful in trying to resolve this though. The amusement and water park is awesome and there are little play areas all over. This is a great family holiday venue and we will definitely return.
  • Great Base for a family holiday. Rides and park are good fun, our boys enjoyed them. Close to the beach which you can get to by bike or car. Lots to do in the area as well.
  • stayed here for a weekend with my wife and the little one. good value a lot to do for the little one. some attractions are dated.
  • We stayed here for a week and loved every minute of it. The Dragonfly rollercoaster was my youngest son's favourite. We must have had a go on this at least once every day!
