  • In de Kerstvakantie met onze kleindochter naar het Volksbuurtenmuseum in Utrecht geweest. Dan dringt het pas goed tot je door dat we het in deze tijd (bijna) allemaal goed voor elkaar hebben. Leerzaam...  more »
  • Nice museum with Nice staff that explains what there is to see. Reconstructed spaces with talking "residents" are pretty funny to see. Surprising that there are also movies and sound clips, not often seen in a museum. I'll be back!

  • What a nice set up museum is this. You get a wonderful insight into the neighbourhood. In particular, the stroll with the household purse by the street in the working class neighborhood is very nice. Similarly the examples of neighbourhood dialects with fun stories, photo and film. This is a must for a few fun hours especially if you're interested in the later history.
