  • A great museum - mostly modern works, but three galleries cover the history of art in Utrecht. Dont miss the display on the Roman's on the top floor - or the 1000 year old boat in the basement
  • The Museum has recently undergone a renovation allowing the Entrance moved to the street side, in the spacious hall is your friendly welcome from a volunteer. After checkout you can go to the old ship acts what here also in the cellar but this time you come for Craige Horsfield, this is located behind the Red corridor and glass walkway. At entrance directly an overwhelming wall carpet with an impression of the artist of nine-eleven. There sounds at any time of the day an appropriate ' sound walk '. Portraits of the Utrecht's crowd are subdued, the images give a certain timelessness. The film in the upper room is definitely worth it and shows the background of the exhibition. There is a room with a work where I do not in any way disclose too much about already, but it gives good the inner struggle and passion of a group of men. In a room two more rhinos right in front put together, and then in an angle of 45 degrees visible big. In a space above the rooms there is still room for interaction with a dedicated website. After this visit just sit down in a Rietveld Chair in the attic, to give it another good to reflect.

  • This museum is so like all other attractions within Netherlands: organized, modern and mind-blowing. It's focused on history, not arts, and information comes written, in audio or video.

  • Nice charming museum with rotating art exhibitions. During my visit the theme was centralled around the topic of Hair. It's not so crowded and threrefore not too overwhelming . Nice visit. 2 hours should suffice
  • I'm afraid to say that I expected much more of this big museum. Its permanent collection is scare and keeps very humble works of art from some Dutch painters. It is far beyond some other painting museum collections that can be found in the rest of the Nederlands big cities, such as Den Haag, Rotterdam or even Haarlem.
  • Beautiful venue for events also. Especially musical presentations.
  • I loved it! Well done curate!
  • Diverse, maar enigszins onsamenhangende collectie. Enthousiaste rondleiding.
