A very nice gallery/museum indeed. I'm not well-schooled in art history but there are apparently great works from all the Dutch masters of the 17th century. And in a wonderful old historic home that h... read more »

Amazing art and building. Just the right size to get around without feeling overwhelmed. Vik Muniz: Verso exhibition was also great and complimented the permanent collection.
A nice and compact museum, with some very interesting paintings. The renovation looks great. Also nice is their 'side-exhibition' of paintings that didn't make it into the primary display hall.
Wonderful paintings and very helpful staff. I came to the Hague for a few days specifically to see Girl with a Pearl Earring and was not disappointed.
A beautiful museum inside and out. It's the perfect size: not so big you feel like you have to see only a few pieces of art, and not so small it doesn't feel like you get your money's worth. The art here is spectacular.
Incredible collection of Dutch painters. There are a few paintings of each painter but they are great. The building itself is also a very beautiful place to visit of the very Den Haag downtown. Nice city walks around it.
