  • The hofvijver is a known place. It's nice to walk around it. Then also the turret from all sides of the Prime Minister. The scenery is beautiful: lots of history, beautiful hiking trails and enough shopping for the enthusiast ...

  • Beautiful pond near the Binnenhof. The pond is adjacent to the first room, the Ministry of General Affairs and the turret (Office of the Prime Minister). Here are beautiful photos, because of the reflections in the water.

  • At around the hofvijver walk you'll pass the prison gate, by the inner court and along the Mauritshuis Museum. The stately buildings on the pond side are also worth a look.

  • One of my favorite places in The Hauge. Beautiful, Central and relaxing.
  • Nice area for a stroll
  • The hofvijver complements the beautiful view of the inner courtyard with its turret and the stately Senate. In the hofvijver is a small island, which sometimes hordes of green grass parakeets. There used to be rowed on the hofvijver. On the hofvijver concerts, and a beach volley ball tournament held. The hofvijver was formerly a ven in the dunes. That long-standing the hofvijver is reflected on the many paintings on the Hague, who among other things in a number of museums in the Hague. The hofvijver itself is pretty nasty and full of algae.

  • The Hofvijver is where it all began. Here arose the Hague. The pond is actually a dune Lake, which is connected with the dunes and still later a quay and rectangular was made. The islet in the Middle has no name. Usually hang the flags of the 12 provinces on the side of the Buitenhof, but sometimes there are other flags on the occasion of something. There are also events such as a fireworks show, classical concerts, an ice rink etc. At the Alva Street is you really sunshine and there are enough benches. In the long Pond mountain is a fun fair every year.
