  • This is a fun museum which has a permanent collection of paintings and changing exhibitions. It really is an old building with all kinds of small spaces. I'm on the top floor started and saw the beautiful dollhouses by Lita de Ranitz and a video about her. The floor below it was about pop music and nightlife in the 60 to 80. Beautiful that clothing and pictures of the bands from those years. Now I'm not so of the paintings so there I slowly walked through on the 1st floor where you enter. With MJK is free and really worth to visit this museum.

  • Small museum about the history of the Hague. It uses paintings and artefacts to tell the story, but there are significant gaps and the structure of the exhibitions is not always clear.
  • History of The Hague, well designed
  • I particularly appreciate the last room dedicated to the different generations of immigrants who arrived in The Hague after WWII!
  • Nice place to learn more about the history of Den Haag
