One of the Netherlands' most popular and prominent art museums, Gemeentemuseum Den Haag houses an extensive collection of modern works and the world's largest conglomeration of those by Dutch artist Piet Mondriaan. • It currently hosts an interesting exhibition about Mondriaan. The permanent collection includes a number of nice pieces too.  more »
  • The municipal museum is a beautiful building, designed by Berlage. I have already seen a lot of great exhibitions, the style is also such a wonderful. Piet Mondrian is an icon, the exhibition dedicated to him is phenomenal.

  • Beautiful exhibition-clear overview drawn up in time and the style! The headphones offer an added value, just like the interesting inleidnende movie.

  • One of the best museums in the country. The building is a work of art in itself. Display of paintings or sculptures is always superbly done. Complete bilingual information.
  • My favourite museum/gallery in Holland. This is an absolute must visit. So much to see. Would go again tomorrow if I could.
  • The exhibitions in this museum are world class. Their curators chose the best works from all around the world. We most recently saw the Alice Neel exhibition, along with brilliant exhibitions on Delftware and Valentino clothing designs. Their collection of glassware from the 17th century is fascinating, too. This museum never disappoints me. It's a must see for all art lovers who visit The Hague. In fact, if you're visiting just Amsterdam, then a train ride to The Hague would be totally worth it. Make a day of it and see the Escher Museum and the Photography Museum there as well.
  • Absolutely stunning! I was there to see Mondriaan exhibition and it was absolutely worth it! Can't wait to go back!
  • Very nice museum. We visited the Mondriaan exhibition and really liked it. Special mention for the very helpful and polite staff of the museum.
